CSM2019

By 2050, more than two billions vehicles are expected to be circulating world-wide. Something has to change, otherwise the future of the hypercities, which count more than 20 millions people, is certain to get unsustainable.

To the aim of reducing congestion and polluting emissions, the only solution is innovation: transformation of existing technologies, rethinking of future ones, improvement of infrastructures. All this should go hand in hand with a new paradigm of mobility as a system, built on synergies and connections between public transport, shared vehicles, private vehicles, infrastructure and people.

Improvements in conventional vehicles, alternative powertrains, smart cities, digitalization and connected mobility: these some of the topics that will be discussed during the first Conference on Sustainable Mobility – CSM2019.

When:  OCTOBER 14-15, 2019
Where: CATANIA, ITALY

CSM2019

This event began in 2014 as a small workshop held at the University of Rome Niccolò Cusano, in Rome, Italy. Since then it has grown steady and it has now become an international event. This year it will be held in the splendid setting of the city of Catania, an ancient port city on the eastern coast of Sicily, Italy. In the last editions, the event succeeded in the aim of promoting an intensive interaction of stakeholders in the field of green mobility, bringing together academics, researchers and industry representatives. This year, we would like to provide an even more fertile ground for beneficial exchanges between professionals and researchers and a forum to showcase industry trends, key developments and future concepts on the topic of sustainable mobility.
